Devotion

As all the Saints, Camus is devoted to Athena and the justice, but looking deeply the various words he said in his appearence we see that Camus true devotion is to teach his pupils what he knows. In the last battle with Hyoga he forget anything about justice and Athena and fight just to give his pupil the last main lesson that a master could do. What he really want is that the pupil knows that nothing is more important than follow the ideals even going against the own master.

If we look the various manga appearence, we will see that Camus devotion to Athena is strong like other Saints but in countrary of some others he isn't interested at all in Arles and it's plans and orders, the only things that he follow is Athena's path as all the best Saint does. Camus devotion to Athena is shown also in the Hades saga.
In the Hades even if he was forced to kill her from Pandora, once turned back he with his comrades kidnap her in order to defeat Hades for the sake of the goddes, unfortunately poweless on who gave their new bodies. However after that he join all the golden saints to open a path to the bronze saints in order to save their beloved goddess and sacrifice himself one more time for the sake of the goddess despice the fact that he had voted himself to Hades to turn back inlife.

In the Hades we are also able to see once again the devotion of a master for his pupil and how, even there down in the hell, he tries to teach Hyuga again an imporatnt lessonof how important is fight against the ghost from the past.

However like mentionated in the section dedicated to Camus, the strong bond between him and the Albert Camus thought could make you think that the the Gold Saint haven't a true bond with Athena herself but with the concept of justice. In fact in the manga Camus follow Arles' order evne knowing that he isn't under Athena's bless, like is he is negating is main role and his own goddess, he act like an atheist that believe only in his moral principles, and the might principle that role his heart is the justice unrappresented by a goddess or a human shape. It's the idea of justice that he follow and belief and for that he goes against his own pupil careless of the bonds between them

Joining all the series the idea I reached of Camus is of someone that appearently doesn't care of the others that much and that show only how faithful he is to the ideals that he have inside. But however like an human he can't negate the bonds not of friendship neither of love like the one he shows to Hyoga. Camus is the classical contraddition between will and feel because with his mind he negate anything to be cold and reach with this the lowest status of the ice and focus himself to his role and ideals, but as the same he can't negate what he proof as a teacher, how hard his for him go against his beloved pupil. But however he does it to give him the last teaching and find finally what was really important even if at the very last time of his life.
