Camus natality is stated by Kurumada as the France, however he spent most of his life in the Siberia.

Since he was a child, Camus was always saw as a prodigy child, in fact he gain the right ot have the Aquarius Golden Armor since of the age of 7 yers. However for his own choice he suit up the golden armour for the first time at the age of 13th.

Even if his duties as Gold Saint obligate him to stay in the Athena temple, he spent most of is life in the Eastern Siberia avoiding this duty. In the year he spent there he took 2 students: one is Isaac (future Kraken Saint) and Hyoga (future Cygnus Saint).

The first time that Camus met the last of his pupil he ask him why he wish to become a Saint. His reply is quiet simple to became powerful enought to save his mother from the Siberian Ice behin the water were his graveyard belong. Camus told him that he would eventually doom himself if he was fighting for such a reason. He pointed out to the icebergs far away, and told Hyoga that he must be as tough and emotionless as the eternal frozen icebergs of Siberia, only then will he become a strong fighter.
